Day 100. A hundred days since the first strikes, and the Strait is still a ghost lane — barely a ship moving, both sides trading drones and missiles over a ceasefire neither one believes in. Today the talks hit what Tehran calls a deadlock: Iran wants its frozen billions back, and Washington is quietly drafting plans to spend those same billions rebuilding the Gulf allies Iran just fired on. You couldn’t make it up. Wall Street finally flinched, too — the S&P had its worst day since October, rate-cut hopes buried under a jobs report nobody asked for. A hundred days in, and the only thing crossing Hormuz freely is the money. I’ll keep counting. More in the morning.
