june + july 2026

Sending a little early before I get busy at the end of the month. Had optimistic plans for these months and then one thing after another came up, ominous weather continues here, etc. Here’s the updates though:

"dream journal 2022" book against tree roots, cherry blossom petals scattered around

I completely forgot to send this in the last newsletter but I finally sold out of the print run of my 2022 dream journals Thanks to everyone who got a copy of this (or the original mini zine...!) over the past 2.5 years, I still like this project a lot even if I haven’t done any sort of regular dream journal drawing since then. Don’t currently have plans to reprint these so I made the digital version with all 300+ drawings free/PWYW.

a riso print divided into 3 panels: on the left, an elevated concrete roadway arcs across a sky fading into orange; smoke pours from holes in a three-legged incense holder. in the right half, yellow-brown fields stretch into erosion, and a small inset panel features a grub.

23 / 26-06 / minor rot (3/6)

Someone long ago has already felt this same way. June's riso print, in 3 colors (light lime, copper, medium blue).

a riso print: a panel with an exterior view of a tree-shadowed wall and an open window, curtains blowing back to reveal the room inside. in the lower right, a small oval panel of a falling match. both are set against a dark brown frame with scattered points of orange and light green.

24 / 26-05 / sequence

The future hovers just out of sight. July's riso print, in 4 colors (fluorescent orange, mint, bright olive green, brown). More info + subscribe to monthly prints @ patreon.com/formyths.

a drawing divided into panels: an owl watches from the shadows of trees; a torso splits open into surreal viscera; hands held over a pool liked a ringed slab of mineral; a winding path on a mountainside.

hollows, deep blue, regret or apology

Started writing down some dreams again a while back and was supposed to use that to do some experiments / figure out looser faster inking and then didn’t really succeed at that…

colorful risograph printed stickers, in small ovals & rectangles, arranged in a group
4 sheets of risograph stickers: symbols, with designs like a labyrinth, looping paths, doorways, thorns; sky, with various clouds, weather, & phenomena; forest, with trees, plants, and scribbled creatures; and emotions, with scenes like a spilled vase and curtains fluttering over an open window.

You may have seen these in my online store / @ MOCCA while I was doing some trial runs but also finally shared the risograph sticker sheets I made! Will be available at Stationery Fest in NYC. Depends on how I’m doing but will also try to have any leftover up online again after this run of shows in the fall.

3-4 riso colors each
sheet sizes range from 3.375-4 × 5.5in
symbols: 36 stickers, .75 × .5in ea
sky + forest: 24 stickers, 1 × .5in ea
emotions: 9 stickers, ~1.23 × 1.55in ea

a translucent envelope of the stickers.

spiral-bound risograph sampler book being assembled

Not “new” strictly speaking (except for the covers) but put together 4 test copies of a sampler book with b-grades/proofs/miscuts etc of my monthly risograph prints (or at least the ones I still have misprints for). Trying to figure out what to do with all this material I’ve saved and I think this is a fun way to see what I’ve made / get a glimpse of the process / get a risograph ink colors in use sampler.

Thanks to everyone who got them from Endless Editions @ BKABF! They were gone before I went to help with the table :’) Will probably try to make some more of these in the future, though probably not in time for any of my other upcoming shows the next few months.

other news etc ✷

Show schedule so far for the next few months, will be pretty busy (not really sure how I will fare with intense 3-4 day shows...) but also mostly in NYC:

  • Stationery Fest (NY) - Jul 30-Aug 1 @ G13 with Olivia Fields

  • Anime NYC (NY) - Aug 20-23 @ AC-10 with Kittybug Press

  • Small Press Expo (MD) - Sep 12-13

  • Art Demons & Angels Market (NY) - Sep 19, RSVP + info here

  • New York Comic Con (NY) - Oct 8-11

Reminder: I curate stock depending on specific shows / space so if you’re not sure I’ll have something at a particular event I’m happy to figure out pickup orders, just email me.

Thanks to everyone who got something from my online store, as always I really appreciate the support / willingness to deal with the ever increasing costs of shipping. No guarantees but as mentioned will try to do another round in Oct/Nov after this next run of shows.

Seattle: you can still get a few of my zines at the Paper Pushers zine store pop-up run by the Seattle Printers Guild. Also check out a lot of other artists’ books + zines + prints, + events/workshops they’ve been running there!

NYC: dropped off a few copies of Skinning at Wing on Wo & Co in Chinatown, hopefully will be available in store at some point!

We shall see if I actually get it done in time to print/assemble but want to try to have a minicomic done for SPX… good luck to anyone else also in a struggle to get work done.
