Tip #46 & VN Details

Hey Everyone,

Aromantic Confession is a short visual novel about someone confessing their love to an aromantic. I wrote it because there is so little representation about the aromantic experience (it is often connected with asexual, sexual orientation, and/or gender). That is not to say there is anything wrong with that, but I just wanted something that was unapologetically about aromanticism.

It will be posted on Itch tomorrow afternoon probably around 2pm eastern. Here is the link: https://edwin-at-work.itch.io/aromantic-confession

For example: you have worked a string fast food server jobs over the years. Instead of listing each individual job you have held, just mush them together into something like (adjusting for your resume formatting, of course):

Food Server (6 years)
Various Fast Food Establishments Hometown, AL
-Received orders from both dine-in and drive-thru customers.
-Generated order bill using an automated register.
...

I suggest leading your resume with your most recent job or two you have held. A hiring manager will want to know that at greater detail. This tip is intended to be on the lower part of the first page or the back of your resume.

Edwin, an anthropomorphic jackrabbit, is wearing a business casual outfit and has a grumpy expression on his face. He gives job searching tips by speaking directly to the reader using a dialogue bubble. Edwin says,
"Resumes commonly order details “per job,” but this does not always have to be the case. If you have worked many jobs within an industry, then create an industry-level entry that summaries common things you have done. Be general when stating years of experience (i.e., sum of the jobs). This may look better than a list of briefly held positions."
