But are they worth it? Usually not unless the certificate is well known in your field. Also, some industries are flooded with them (looking at you tech), so it can be cost prohibitive to go after many.
Free certificates aren't helpful except for some entry-level positions and/or you just need to add a skill to your resume to be competitive.
