"Consider investing in a good microphone, an OK webcam, and some additional lighting. Video calls are becoming the norm in hiring, especially for interviewing. You do not need studio-grade equipment, you just need to avoid poor audio and video quality. Although it is not part of what they are looking for, interviewers will take note."
