It’s almost that time to record - I booked a studio in Lyme, CT for the first week of November.
I’ve waited two years to record these songs and release them together as a full length chapter book. I’ve finally taken the first step thanks to a $5000 grant from the Levitate Foundation that will cover six full days in the studio. Four of those days will be recording with the full band. The rest of the time will be going back over vocals, experimenting with pedal steel, violin, banjo overdubs, and frolicking around the farm.

I’m so dang excited for this chapter to begin! And I’m more excited to be able to give you all this album. These songs carry personal experiences of heartbreak, work drama, ecological anxiety, and healing. I hope these songs mean just as much to you as they have meant to me. I hope they make you laugh, make you cry, and make you okay.
Now I’m asking for your help. To finish an album is a pricey ordeal. Every contribution goes directly into making this record possible. This is what I’m looking for:
✅ Studio time
✅ Recording engineers & production
Session musicians (banjo, fiddle, mandolin, pedal steel)
Mixing & mastering
Album artwork & photography
Vinyl/CD production
Digital release costs
Just through asking people at my shows, I’ve raised $425 so far! Now I’m looking to share this message far and wide. If you can’t donate, no problem! You can still help by sharing my music with your friends:) I appreciate any support you can offer!
