Cosmic horror subs open next month

The chill of autumn is soon upon us, and the hour draws near. From the 1st October until midnight 30th November, we'll be accepting submissions for our cosmic horror anthology.

WRITE Festival

There's still time to book your tickets for this year's WRITE Festival in South Shields! On Saturday 5th September, we'll be talking about writers' journeys toward publication and what to expect from working with an editor. There's lots of other writers and publishing professionals speaking over the festival, so take a look!

• York-based Forge Press is open for submissions to their autumn zine until the 11th September.
• The Fiction Desk is open to submissions until the end of September.
• The Fieldnotes Folio Prize will select two unpublished writers to award a prize of £1,000. Deadline 11th November.
