CARI BURDETT — DON’T FORGET
SALISH SEA ALBUM RELEASE TOUR

“A gorgeous slice of pop-soul that would surely make Carole King smile.”
— Canadian Beats

Canadian singer-songwriter Cari Burdett has just released her new album, Don’t Forget, and is bringing the music to Gabriola Island for an intimate afternoon concert at the Phoenix Theatre.

Don’t Forget arrives almost ten years after Cari’s album Magnolia, which was nominated for Best World Album at the 2016 Western Canadian Music Awards.

Following Magnolia, a serious vocal injury left Cari with a paralyzed vocal cord and forced her to cancel a planned Canadian tour. Years of healing, reconnecting with nature, raising her family and slowly finding her way back to her voice followed.

Don’t Forget is the music that has emerged on the other side of that journey — seven original songs exploring love, friendship, grief, belonging, nature and healing.
