Birdsong in November: The McMillan's Camp Boys
Friday, November 13 | Doors 6:30 pm - show at 7 | RSVP to [email protected] | Suggested donation $25
Get ready for an evening of traditional country, bluegrass, and old-time music with The McMillan’s Camp Boys, a duo whose brother-like harmonies and lively string work have taken them from Dawson City, Yukon, to St. John’s, Newfoundland.
Originally from the Rocky Mountains of western Canada and now calling Nova Scotia home, these travelling musicians bring together the sounds of old-time country, blues, bluegrass, and folk. Influenced by legends like The Stanley Brothers, The Carter Family, Lightnin’ Hopkins, and Roscoe Holcomb, they deliver timeless music with warmth, skill, and the easy chemistry of longtime friends.
The Mcmillan's Camp boys are:
Joshua Douglas Alexander Kaiser---vocals, fiddle, guitar, banjo
Levon James Lindequist--guitar, mandolin, vocals
Their latest album, Runty in the Tallgrass, is out now on Dartmouth’s Big Turnip Records.
Come settle in for an intimate evening of good music and good company at Birdsong. We’d love to see you there!
