Hello lovelies!

Just a reminder that—rain or shine—we’re bringing our summer outdoor concert series at Birdsong to a close on Saturday, September 5th with a very special evening of music from NEAVV. (Forecast currently looks good, but should it rain we will move things indoors or undercover).

NEAVV is a Gabriola-based Canadian alternative-pop singer-songwriter and producer whose music brings together guts, grief and glowing synths. With a master’s degree in opera performance, she has the kind of powerhouse voice that can stop you in your tracks, paired with sharp, vulnerable songwriting and an indie-pop sensibility.

Since releasing music in 2018, NEAVV has had songs land in film and television, on Canadian radio, and in the Top 10 of US college radio. Her music has won international songwriting competitions, and her collaboration All or Nothing has racked up millions of streams and support from DJs including Tiësto and Don Diablo. She’s shared stages with Dear Rouge, Mother Mother and Bedouin Soundclash.

After years in Toronto’s music scene, NEAVV returned to the west coast at the beginning of the pandemic and has been producing her own music here ever since. She’s currently deep into work on her sophomore album, due in early 2027.

Come settle into the garden for one last summer evening of live music!
