Formation № 004: Beta, Early Access, and Launch

aphera aphera
TL;DR: all beta invites have been sent (check spam, or email us); new website; we're getting close to launch.

Teotihuacan, outside of Mexico City

Hello!

Thanks to all of you who are interested in Aphera! Many thanks to Dense Discovery, Picalilli, and Hulry for sharing about us in their newsletters.

Beta invites

Lots of new people have signed up to get their hands on the app, and we’ve sent out all beta invites as of last week. If you've gotten our update emails but not your invite, please check spam/junk or email us. The invite contains a link to download and your beta access code.

We closed early access last week as we prep for launch. If you just signed up for the app but missed the early access period and want to try the beta, email us.

Perspective tools, missing imports, and polish

Beta 15 was released last week, following a big Beta 14 release that added perspective tools and smoothed out issues with missing imports and external drives. Take a look at the changelogs for 14 and 15 if you missed them.

An updated website and walkthrough video

A screenshot of the website showing the Looks and color science behind the app If you haven’t been to the website in a while, we refreshed it three weeks ago. More of the feature set is up to explore, and as always, the Docs and Changelogs are a great way to understand how Aphera is shaped.

Naz recorded a shorter, updated walkthrough showing the streamlined release-candidate version. Take a look.

1.0

Launch is a few weeks away. We’ll share pricing and purchase info real soon (spoiler: you’ll own it).

We’re really excited to put this out after two years of work, and we are encouraged by all of your feedback. There's a lot ahead we're excited to build and get to.

We’re so close!

Thanks for your support,
Juan, Naz, and Ryan.‌
