Hopefully you've closed the work laptop, logged out of Teams, cut all ties with the VPN, changed your password to something completely unrecoverable and are now bathing in the warm heat of a fire with a soothing beverage in your hand. If not I hope you get there soon.
2020 has been a wild old ride but I've really enjoyed prepping these for you and thinking about interesting things to send out. I started in April with just 55 subscribers and now have grown to an enormous 137. That's a true story of social media reach and influence my friends. More seriously it does give me something to think about and 'curate' for the end of each week and apparently some people even enjoy receiving it.

How to avoid being duped by survivorship bias
Another one to bookmark and refer back to. Why you probably shouldn't pay any attention to the regular 'ten things successful people do before breakfast' type lists / articles / books. I've resisted quoting the final paragraph of this, but it really is worth reading.

Performance Architecture. This came up in the interim crits at UCA Canterbury last week and wasn't previously aware of his work. Some fabulous stuff in here.
I think that might be my last one for this year (maybe) and will resume again in the sunlit uplands of 2021 where everything is wonderful.
