What a week eh! I definitely picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue. I'll spare you the trite Happy New Year stuff and get straight to the links for you. It's fair to say that life continues to be a bit strange for everyone and hope you're doing ok. If you're not please click on this link for some places you can get help. I've been trying to follow the tips in this post (image 5) to improve ones mind and wellbeing. I also tried to stay away from the doomscrolling for a bit but still found a few moments of joy or interest below during Festivus and beyond to share with you... off we go.

From July last year but still great. What do you do if you find an exposed roll of film in a charity shop?

Sure, everyone saw it two weeks ago as it ripped through twitter and the superlative like machine. But maybe you didn't see it and maybe it brings you joy? Or as a friend said, 'what a waste of wood'. Your milage may vary.

Yeah, everyone saw this a few weeks back but maybe you didn't. A popular use was to show where you grew up vs where you are now (use your postcode). A very nice use of OpenStreetMap and once again maps really are beautiful, even digital ones.

It's not been complete shite. I also had a go at trying to find ten good things that happened and was surprised at how fortunate we've been / how much fun was had.

Ride your bike as much as you like, as far as you like, but don’t judge yourself or your riding success by volume of miles. Measure all of this by what happened along the way, the stories you can tell, the places you visited, the views you paused in front of, and the people and characters you met.
