Hope you are well and haven't got a pre-Christmas cold or any of the sniffles just yet. One more week to go at work and then it's time to put our feet up for a week or two and pet the cat all day whilst watching Seinfeld. Maybe a few bike rides and some walks in the park, nothing too strenuous though. Perhaps a negroni or two. I managed to prep most of this email on Monday as had so much good stuff to share and avoided the temptation to send a mid-week on, rules are rules now. Enough inane chat, here are your links. A clever interactive map service that plots how long it take to get somewhere by a mode of transport. Helpful if you want to see what is available with a '15 min city' idea from your current location. I can see lots of uses for this when doing studies on housing developments to supplement the London PTAL rating. The map in the original link is plotted as 20 mins of cycling from Peckham.
The movies that made us
Really interesting look at seminal movies and the making of them. I've only watched the one about Die Hard so far but has so much in there I had no idea about. Hopefully more episodes appear. Via Emma.
