This was so interesting (as always!), Ana! Really made me want to read The Flight of the Heron, especially if it can fill that Outlander-shaped hole in my life (though I agree: Rivals is doing very well for itself in that regard).
Anyway, when have I ever had to eat my words? Oh, I don't know, maybe when I was at Rock Werchter in 2009, watching the Black Eyed Peas from afar, listening to them play a new song about which I said "This is truly the dumbest song ever. It will never catch on."
Was it "I Gotta Feeling"? Yes. Yes it was.
(I still cannot accept the sheer spelling of "I Gotta Feeling", by the way.)
