This week's session & learning about 'anchors'
For this week's session, I wanted to let you know that there is a section in the 'senses journey' that will focus on our breathing.
I wanted to include the invitation to focus on the breath for one of our sessions because it has the potential to be a very helpful 'anchor' for meditation practice. This means it can help us to be in the moment and hopefully more relaxed!
For some of us breathing can be an area of difficulty. This is why I only included a focus on it for the one session. As always this is all invitational, and you are very much encouraged to take what you feel is helpful and to leave anything that is not.
If this doesn't feel suitable or supportive to you, then I encourage you to either focus on a different sense during that section of the sense journey (for example the points of contact with the surface beneath you, sounds in the space, feeling the air touching your skin) or if it feels stressful then you can simply go back to sessions one or two.

Mindfulness in everyday life - A video for you!
The intention with the EcoNidra sessions is to offer you a resource that can guide you into a deeply restorative state of rest.
I also know that some of the techniques you are practising during these sessions can be helpful outside of the sessions too!
I have created a short video that is a very basic introduction to the ways that you can use the breath and other anchors that we practice in EcoNidra™ to ground yourself in the moment. This is a bit of a mix of mindfulness and forest bathing!
The link for the video is below for anyone who wants to learn about this - hopefully you can add the captions by clicking on the CC button in the bottom right corner.
