Your vote matters. So do you, cutie. 💜
5,000 free gender-affirming items are coming. Plus, a little trans joy to brighten your week. 💜

Hi QTP Cutie,
Before we get into this week’s updates, a reminder from me: if you’re eligible to vote and haven’t already, please make a plan. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3.
Midterm elections shape decisions about healthcare, education, housing, and so many other issues that directly impact trans people across the country. That includes decisions made right in our own communities.
Take a little time to learn what’s on your ballot, check your local voting requirements, and figure out when and how you’ll vote. You can find registration information and links to your state’s voting resources at Vote.gov. Your voice matters, cutie. Get out and vote. 💜
Now, I have something big to share: our largest Build-A-Queer restock yet is coming soon, with 5,000 free gender-affirming items!
We’ve had a record number of BIPOC and disabled community members sign up for Early Access. The need is there, and we’re getting ready to put these resources into the hands of the people who need them.
To help you feel ready, we put together a quick YouTube Short walking you through how to order once the restock goes live.

Getting these items onto our shelves is one part of the work. Getting them to your door is another. Shipping across the country keeps getting more expensive, and we want these resources to stay free for the people receiving them.
If you’re able, please consider donating to help us keep gender-affirming items and discreet shipping completely free for our community.
If donating isn’t possible right now, you can also start your own fundraiser for QTP and invite your friends, family, or community to give. Sharing our work helps, too. There are so many ways to show up for each other.
So much to learn in this beautiful community
One thing I love about our community is how many different ways there are to be ourselves. And there’s always more we can learn about one another.
Our guide, Demystifying Sex and Gender: Your Guide to LGBTQ+ Terms, Pronouns, and Identity, is here to help—whether you’re finding words for your own experience, supporting someone you love, or learning how to be a better ally.
You don’t need to memorize every term, cutie. Start with the basics, jump to a word you’re curious about, or bookmark it for later. Understanding each other helps us show up with more care, offer support, and stand up for everyone’s basic rights.
And now, a little trans joy.
This is one of my favorite parts of sharing these emails with you: making room to celebrate our community. Here are a few things that made me smile this week.
Trans joy has a soundtrack.
An October 23 story spotlights trans and nonbinary choirs across the country creating spaces for music, friendship, and belonging. At Seattle’s STANCE, singers are grouped by vocal range, with people of different genders singing together in each section. A place to use your voice and feel at home in it? Yes, please.
A meaningful win for access to care.
On October 21, the Supreme Court left an order in place protecting access to gender-affirming care for trans people in federal prisons while the lawsuit continues. The case is ongoing, but this decision keeps critical protections in place for now. Our incarcerated community members deserve care and dignity, too.
Two nights. $2 million. A whole lot of love for our community.
Chappell Roan’s Super Graphic Spectacular raised $2 million last week for her Midwest Princess Project, which supports trans youth and LGBTQ+ communities. Artists, fans, and community organizations came together for two nights of music, drag, and showing up for each other. Cutie, queer joy can do some pretty incredible things. 💜
Thank you for being part of this community. Whether you’re here for resources, sharing what we do, or helping us get the next package out the door, I’m glad you’re here.
With great care,
