We could tell you that this Pride, you directly helped us exceed our fundraising goal, raising $34,099 to move care directly to trans people across the United States.

We could tell you that our tiny 2.5-person team received orders from 1,266 trans+ people, giving out every available free item in less than eight minutes. 

We could tell you that those orders represented $106,250 worth of free gender-affirming care, including binders, packers, breast forms, tucking supplies, clothing, and more.

Or that 9,773 website sessions brought people through our virtual doors, up from 7,681 during last summer's restock.

Those numbers matter. 

But this is what they mean.

Someone is turning 38 feeling more like themselves than ever before.

Someone else opened their first binder. Someone received a product they had wanted for years but could never afford. Someone living far from an LGBTQ+ center had gender-affirming care arrive directly at their door. Someone discovered that there were even products made with their body and gender in mind.

You helped make all of that possible.

This Pride, 27 states banned gender-affirming care for transgender youth, while access continued to become more difficult even in places without bans. Trans people are navigating a growing maze of cost, geography, politics, insurance, misinformation, and institutions that too often fail us.

That is where The Queer Trans Project comes in.

Our Restock Trans Joy campaign set out to distribute 1,500 free Build-A-Queer Kits representing more than $150,000 in care. But this work was never just about moving products from our shelves into boxes.

It was about moving care toward trans people when so much else is moving away from us.

And you moved with us.

You gave your hard-earned money. You advocated for QTP at work and reminded coworkers about employer matching. You turned pizza shops, drag shows, Pride events, workplaces, and community gatherings into opportunities to care for trans people. You volunteered your time to pack kits and prepare resources for people you may never meet. You shared our work and brought new people into it.

You weren't just fundraising. You were practicing trans futurism.

Because futurism is not only imagining a better future.

It is building one now.

A workplace match. A fundraiser. A volunteer shift. A $10 donation. A packed kit. A room full of people showing up for our trans community.

Individually, they may feel small. Together, they become infrastructure.

They become a future where someone's zip code doesn't decide whether they can access gender-affirming resources. Where money does not determine whether someone gets to feel at home in their body. Where trans people have access not only to survival, but to joy, exploration, care, and possibility.

And while our team was shipping kits across the country, dozens more trans people came to QTP seeking help accessing affirming care and travel support through our Flight Program.

Your support helped create somewhere for trans people to turn when the systems around them said no.

So there is no donation button at the end of this email. We just want you to see what you did.

You helped move $106,250 in gender-affirming care into the hands of 1,266 trans+ people.

And among those 1,266 people is Bug, about to celebrate their 38th birthday feeling more like themselves than they ever have before.
