A rose caught between bloom and fade โ every vein in every petal visible. The kind of beauty that only reveals itself when you stop and look closely.
Travel photography isn't always about grand landscapes and ancient monuments. Sometimes it's about the garden at the guesthouse where you're staying, the flower that opened overnight while you were sleeping. I found this rose early one morning, still holding dew, at that perfect stage between full bloom and the first curl of wilting.
I've always been fascinated by the structure of petals โ the way they fold over each other, the veins that carry colour from the stem outward, the subtle gradient from deep pink at the edges to almost white at the centre. You can spend ten minutes with a single flower and still not see everything. This is what macro photography teaches you: the world is infinitely detailed, and most of it is happening at a scale you usually overlook.
