West Wales Wild Watch

Free wildlife recording sessions with West Wales Biodiversity Information Centre. A great way to discover the local wildlife. 10am – 1pm.

Denmark Farm Events

Simple Wildlife Pond

Thursday 13th August 9:30am - 12:30pm. Learn how to create a small, barrel-based wildlife friendly pond suitable for even the smallest garden. We will discuss locations, plants, and maintenance, and how to make it wildlife, pet and child friendly. FREE PLACES for local residents.**

Creating a Sustainable Fruit & Veg Garden

Wednesday 19th August 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Learn about the vegetable and fruit growing year – when to do what and discover good sources of help and information about vegetable and fruit. FREE PLACES for local residents.

Join, Sow, Grow, Share Day

Join the Laudato Si' Garden Project for Inspirational talks & practical hands-on workshops on Saturday 19th September 11.30am-4.30pm at St Anne's Church, Penparcau, Aberystwyth.

Annual CAT Conference

Join the Centre for Alternative Technology for a weekend of tours, talks and workshops exploring how we can help tackle the climate and nature crisis. Friday 21st August – Sunday 23rd August.

Small Eco Awards

Grants of £300 to £20,000 are available for projects that improve the environment.

Funding for organisations for projects that help disabled or disadvantaged people connect with nature and the countryside. Closing date: Monday 24th August.
