Free wildlife recording sessions with West Wales Biodiversity Information Centre. A great way to discover the local wildlife. 10am – 1pm.

Hedgehog Help
Hedgley Hospital are inundated with hoglets coming in and are looking for volunteers. They will teach you all you need to know.

They are also asking for food, kitchen roll, cleaning equipment. Are you good at crafts and could make some items to sell? Contact 07792 676112.

Hands-on workshops, family-friendly tours covering green building and renewable energy to ecology, food growing, and sustainable living. Saturday 1st August 10am-4pm.

Pond dipping, bug hunting and butterfly crafts at Yr Ardd on Wednesday 5th August.
Wild Night
Experience a magical night of bats, moths, meteor watching, and campfire fun for the whole family at Coedmore Camping, Cardigan on Tuesday 11th August = £25. See attached.
Funding
Nature Networks Fund
Grants of between £250,000 and £1million, focusing on areas in and around the network of protected sites. Expressions of Interest deadline is Wednesday 5th August.
Consultation
Water Quality Consultation
The Interim Environment Protection Assessor for Wales has launched a second Call for Evidence, focusing on agricultural pollution and inviting views on the health of Wales' rivers. It also welcomes further evidence on wastewater, sewage, water quality monitoring, enforcement and other freshwater issues, giving individuals and organisations the opportunity to help shape future environmental protections. Closing date: Monday 27th July.
