Join us for a day of wildlife, creativity, discovery and community at the Ceredigion Nature Festival, taking place on  Saturday 11 July, 10am–4pm, at the Castle Green, Aberystwyth.

Free wildlife recording sessions with West Wales Biodiversity Information Centre. A great way to discover the local wildlife. 10am – 1pm.

Porthi Aber will be holding a Community Plant and Seedling Swap on Saturday 6th June 2 - 4.30 pm.

Bwlch Corog Open Day

Join Coetir Anian at Bwlch Corog for guided walks, wildlife and conservation activities, children’s nature sessions, storytelling with Milly Jackdaw, music from Cynefin, and the chance to meet ponies and cattle. Saturday the 6th of June from 8am.

Herbal Foraging

A ​journey into the hedgerows and waysides to identify medicinal plants and making your own seasonal herbal remedies. Wednesday 10th June 10am-2.30pm = £50.

CAVO Members Wellbeing Grant

Funding for activities which help people keep active, improve mental health, keep socially connected, eat healthily and challenge the brain.

The Holistic Living Show

Bringing together all facets of Holistic Living to increase the awareness of small businesses and groups that are able to offer a way that can support a healthy and well lived life. Saturday 20th June 10am-7pm in Lampeter.

PROJECT HELP

Community-led Action Research Programme

This LPIP programme aims to equip rural communities in Wales to gather and analyse evidence to address locally-identified challenges and needs. Examples include water quality and swift nesting, access to transport, regenerative tourism and climate change.

Funding News

Dr. Dewi Davies Endowment Fund

Local community groups, charities and projects can apply for grants of between £500 and £7,500.

Fund for Wales

Grants of between £500 – £2,500 per annum for up to 3 years, are available to organisations whose applications best deliver against the outcomes at the link.

Landfill Disposals Tax Communities Scheme

A grant funding programme to help communities living within five miles of certain waste transfer stations or landfill sites take action for their local environment. Closing date: Friday 17th June.
