Contact Rep. Hunter and ask him when is his next town hall. At his last town hall on March 11, 2017, Rep. Hunter promised more town halls, but there have been 3 district work periods since and no news about a town hall. More than 380 constituents have sign a petition for him to hold another town hall.

Contact Mayor Abed & the Escondido City Council and let you them know that you want public discussions about any privatization of the Escondido Library. At June 14 city council meeting about the city budget, it was revealed that the city is exploring cost saving opportunities by outsourcing library services. Contact Senator Feinstein & Harris and ask them to withhold consent until there are hearings and a CBO score for the Senate AHCA bill is released. Senator McConnell is pushing for a vote for the AHCA before July 4 even though the Senate version of the bill hasn’t been released yet. I’ve never seen lying and obstruction like this & Republican secrecy faces mounting criticism as GOP senators work behind closed doors to replace Obamacare.

Contact Rep. Hunter and let him know that you’re unhappy that he voted yes in favor of H.R.2581 (or Verify First Act), which would require ACA eligibility to be conditioned on having a social security number. See Tell Your Representative to vote NO on the Verify First Act (H.R. 2581).

Hunter and ask him to sign petition 115-2 to discharge H.R.356 (or the Protecting Our Democracy Act), which establishes an independent commission to investigate the Russian government’s interference into our 2016 Election. There are 191 signatures and 218 signatures are needed. Ask him to co-sponsor H.R.356. Talking points: recent news reports that Russian cyber attacks impacted 39 states’ election systems are troubling and the American people need to know what their government is doing to understand what happened and how to prevent future attacks.

AG Sessions should be held in contempt of Congress for not answering their questions about conversations he might had with the President, and he should resign for continuing to lie about his communications with Russian representatives.
