Please put your information in this nifty tool https://sites.google.com/view/flipca50. This will help us locate and better communicate with all you wonderful activists working to #FlipCA50th. (And it doesn't matter if you live outside the 50th.) It's a member map, and your info is accessible only to a handful of group leaders and will not be made public under any circumstance. You will be able to see who is nearby for canvassing efforts and huddles. You could see who is nearby a rally event. You could ask members to join your local group or meetup with some neighbors for a coffee. There are over 2000 members of the various Facebook groups all over district 50.

Contact the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee at 202-224-5375 and Senate Finance Committee at 202-224-4515 and ask for a public hearing on Better Care Reconciliation Act, the Senate’s version of Trumpcare. Americans deserve extensive hearings on the bill and its impact on our healthcare.

Contact Senator Feinstein & Harris and ask them to oppose the Better Care Reconciliation Act, the Senate’s version of Trumpcare. Ask them to withhold consent until there are public hearings about the bill and to oppose the bill through procedural means. The CBO released their report and it’s estimated that 22 million more would be uninsured in 2026. They also released a report on the bill’s long-term effect on Medicaid stating that spending would be lower by 26% in 2026. The Senate is pushing to revise the bill & to have CBO score the revision this week. See Red, White, and You: Protect Our Care Recess.

Contact Rep. Hunter and ask him to support our military policy to allow transgender people to openly serve. Rep. Hunter in a House Armed Services Committee hearing signaled that he would support the ban of transgender people from enlisting through legislative means if the U.S. military would not reinstated a band they lifted.
