- Thursday, January 10, 2019, 2:00 PM–4:00 PM: Escondido Public Library Board of Trustees Meeting at Escondido Public Library, Library Board Room (2nd floor in the Library Services staff offices), 239 S Kalmia St., Escondido, CA 92025. ***Agenda includes strategic plan implementation (item #5).***
Immigration
- Read-up on Board of Supervisors’ item #8 meeting agenda on addressing the impacts of the migrant shelter crisis in San Diego County and City, County Officials Are Making Moves to Shelter Asylum-Seekers.
- Contact Supervisor Gaspar and ask her to support Supervisors Cox and Fletcher’s recommendations and provide humanitarian assistance to asylum-seeking families.
- Attend the Board Of Supervisors Regular Meeting on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, 9:00 AM at North Chamber Room 310, 1600 Pacific Highway, San Diego, CA 92101. Join San Diego Rapid Response Network to urge the BoS to “fulfill their duty to asylum-seeking families and provide the humanitarian assistance” to these families.

Join discussions about the EPL strategic plan implementation and what specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound (SMART) goals have implemented to track library performance & improvements.
