And the latest ones all have something new in common: The AR-15.
- Contact Rep. Hunter and ask him to support legislation to prevent gun violence, such as funding for gun safety education, tighter background check and registration for gun purchases, banning bump stock accessories. - Contact Senator Feinstein & Harris and reiterate your support for a path for citizenship for Dreamers & Temporary Protected Status (TPS) recipients. Thursday
- Read-up on Puerto Rican families face FEMA deadline on hotel stays and Displaced Puerto Ricans, now living in hotels, may soon lose housing.
- Contact Rep. Hunter and ask him to co-sponsor H.R.4782 which would provide additional disaster recovery assistance to Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands.
- Contact Senator Feinstein and ask her to co-sponsor S.2165 which would provide additional disaster recovery assistance to Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands.
Friday
- Contact Rep. Hunter and let him know that you’re disappointed by his co-sponsoring and yes vote for H.R.620 (or ADA Education and Reform Act) which repeal essential protections those with disabilities. - Contact Senator Feinstein & Harris and ask them to push for the implementation of H.R.3364, which sanctions Russian government for interfering 2016 election and which President Trump declined to implement this past month. See Demand Trump Implement Russia Sanctions.
