- Contact Board of Supervisors Chairwoman Gaspar and ask her open the meeting about the SDC joining AG Sessions’ lawsuit against California over our sanctuary state policies to the public. Ask her to vote no against joining AG Sessions’ lawsuit.
Wednesday
- Contact Mayor Abed and the City Council and ask them to vote no on consent item #12 to join AG Sessions’ lawsuit against California over our sanctuary state policies.

- Contact Rep. Hunter and let him know that you support a path for citizenship for Dreamers and Temporary Protected Status (TPS) recipients. Ask him to work on a bipartisan, clean DREAM Act to product Dreamers & TPS recipients. See What’s Next in the Fight to Protect Dreamers.
- Contact Senator Feinstein & Harris and reiterate your support for a path for citizenship for Dreamers & Temporary Protected Status (TPS) recipients. Let them know that you’re disappointed by the lack of congressional actions to protect Dreamers & TPS recipients. See Don't Let the Senate Leave DREAMers in Limbo.
Friday
- Read-up on CA StateStrong Newsletter on Gun Control in CA.
- Contact Rep. Hunter and ask him to support legislation to prevent gun violence, such as funding for gun safety education, tighter background check and registration for gun purchases, banning bump stock accessories. See Support the March for Our Lives and Act to End Gun Violence. Note: Rep. Hunter has received $41,087 from the NRA as of end of 2017.
- Contact Assemblymember Waldron and ask her to vote yes on AB3131 which will demilitarize California police force. See Announcing our bill to prevent police militarization.
