It’s been a few years since we’ve seen some truly great Halloween-themed special edition food products, but it seems that this year, manufacturers have once again been moved by that spooky spirit.

I don’t think this is flavored, just colored black (with fruit juice and cocoa powder, neatly sidestepping the food coloring “issues” caued by the the notorious Halloween Whopper).

But that’s not all!

For the suspiciously low price of $1.31, you can get a “pizza nobody asked for” Tombstone pizza kit - a 5-inch pizza, candy corn, and “preparation instructions“ (surely more specific than simply “add candy corn to pizza”?)

Despite the brand being called Tombstone, they didn’t do anything tombstone related…but that’s a topic for a different day.

If you want to make your own, you can try using natural food dyes like butterfly pea flowers - I thought this idea for “poisoned apples” was pretty.

And of course, you can always make this your couple’s costume for 2026!
