Last few days of the Trans Fiction Bundle 2024!
Hey hi folks! Earlier this month, five fellow writers and I put together a bundle of queer stories on itch.io—and it’s down to the last few days!
Buy all 6 for $10 on itch!
It would mean a lot to us all if you’d check it out! We’ve also just now added epub versions of all the books in the bundle, so if you prefer to read reflowable text on the e-reader of your choice, we’ve got you covered!
If you’d like to know more about what you’re getting for your ten dollars, here’s what each author has to say about their respective book:
“The working title was "Unnamed Gay Fantasy Story Where Two Women Kiss In A Timeloop After Murdering Each Other", which I think will get the vibe I was going for across.” —Lizstar on All the Time in the World
“I got to write about the joys and struggles of being a thirty-something sapphic transgender woman and combine that with my love of detective fiction, tempering it with the history of my adoptive home.” —Rachel Stevens on Gold Heart, Emerald City
“Together Alone Together started as an exercise in fantastical self-indulgence, but soon turned into a deeper and more heartfelt paean to the power of a changing self.” —hope weaver on Together Alone Together
“As a broken person in a broken world, I wanted to write about finding joy amidst hopelessness, the work it takes to find it, and the people who make that work worth doing.” —Winter Hearth on missed beat
“Enjoy tales of trans horror, queer intrigue, and indulgent magic in this collection of modern fantasy and horror short stories.” —SilverChangeling on Wondrous And Terrible Forbidden Fruit
“I’ll never be normal about knights and princesses ever again. Or body swap stories for that matter! There’s something really special about learning to appreciate your old body from the outside because it’s now inhabited by someone you love.” —Alex Zandra on Her Majesty The Prince
I mentioned it over on my blog, but this bundle also marks my first tentative steps into something I’ve wanted to do for a long time: publishing! While everything in the bundle is self-published, I helped several of my fellow writers with different parts of the process: a little layout here, some cover design there, and so on.
Adapting my tools and expertise to work for other people in this way has given me a lot of really useful practical experience and I’m hopeful that I can one day streamline this process enough to be able to help more folks put their books out into the world.
That's it for now!
Thank you again for signing up for my newsletter! I’ve got more projects in the works on the writing side (as well as a fun little reveal planned for my Good Morning Mega Man stream this Friday around noon Eastern) so I’ll keep you posted—but not too often! This is only my second new newsletter but I plan to stick to the once-a-month maximum for the foreseeable future.
If you want to hear from me more often, you can find me in a lot of other places. ^^
See you next time, and please take care! <3
