Magma Canvas

One thing I've wanted to try doing for a while was a shared art canvas. So starting this month I've set up a magma virtual canvas for everyone who wants to collaborate together. It's free to make a magma account. The theme for this month is pride! 🏳️‍🌈

Draw, write a ficlet and do whatever you want!

**Some things to note if you participate**

- Please be mindful of space, I've set up multiple canvases but try not to draw too big. If you see someone drawing close to you don't draw over them

- You are free to draw now until the 21st at any time

- Everyone is free to create for whoever they want. Self inserts, sonas, ocs, favorite blorbos, f/os.

- Keep in mind someone who has the same f/o as you and is your double may participate.

- Draw whatever you want from sfw to suggestive or dead dove

- I'm going to share the canvases on our socials at the end of the month so be mindful of that if there's anything you don't want shared for whatever reason

June has been a pretty busy and stressful month for me but it's also been a lot of fun. I'm very queer all months of the year lol but it's very special and nice to me. I’ve been working on a lot of stuff fandom wise and yumeshipdark wise and I hope to share it soon. But yeah that LGBTQ+ rainbow sparkle energy is doing a lot of heavy lifting for me this season.

To get on my soap box for a second… a lot of my ocs are queer. Ten plus years ago I was a lot less certain of my gender and sexuality. Now I'm writing and drawing ocs of all orientations. Most of my f/os are queer in some way from canon or because I said so. But I think everyone with any f/o or with any ocs queer or otherwise are valid. Yumeshippping, headcanons and exploring your identity through fiction are i

7’ to be fun.

There's so many flavors of what lesbian can do with yumeshipping in it of itself and I think even more so when you throw queerness into the mix. Some people get upset when people yume characters who aren't compatible gender or sexual orientations with each other. Personally I feel like, and it's not like in yumeshipping pope, but people should have fun. It's supposed to be fun and fictional. When people say things like, shipping yourself with a canon gay guy but you're not a woman yourself is conversion therapy or you're homophobic it's depressing. It waters down what these words are supposed to mean. There's so much going on in the world and so many problems. I don't want to talk about it too much here I think things can get negative in the community which can be important to acknowledge but depressing to constantly think about. I typed that all to say with yumeshipping no matter what you're doing with yumeshipping if you're having fun and not being an asshole I think that's what matters.

Exploring queerness through fictional characters has always meant a lot to me. I think if it doesn't to you that's okay too. Ultimately I started running this server hub because I want people to be able to have fun yumeshipping even if they're into different things, yumeship in different ways and views. It's why I like hosting events people can participate in different ways.
