Magma Canvas One thing I've wanted to try doing for a while was a shared art canvas. So starting this month I've set up a magma virtual canvas for everyone who wants to collaborate together. It's free to make a magma account. The theme for this month is hot and wet 💦

Please be mindful of space, I've set up multiple canvases but try not to draw too big. If you see someone drawing close to you don't draw over them

We are hosting Kinkyumetober 💜❤️ A profic / proship / anti harassment daily prompt event in October. The interest check is up until July 17th! (And I'm extending it till the 20th so people who read the newsletter and want to submit prompts can do so since I'm late sending it out). Submit sfw nsfw and dead dove prompts below. We're looking for a mix of fluff, horror, gore, smut specifically yumeship type prompts and things about fall and Halloween.
We ran this last year and it was very fun and spooky. It seems like everyone puts out their Kinktobor type lists earlier and earlier like some of the prompt lists beat me by Months but we're going to get here when we get there.
I want to take the time to point out GaymeGasm 2026 and Citruscon! Please note Yumeshipafterdark is not affiliated with them. But a lot of people in the yumeshipdark community, myself included, go to both of them and think they're great! They're free virtual events hosted on Discord. I love getting anon asks, submissions and doodles so if you ever want to send some in please feel free to do so! For those not aware I try to post something on our socials every day. If you don't see me thanking an anon chances are what I post is stuff I thought up myself or are sharing (like with memes and stuff). So I moved this month! It was unexpected but it needed to happen. And a bunch of other miscellaneous unpleasant things happened. And as stressed out and tired as I am I know one day I'll look back fondly and if not at least I can take it out on my blorbos and also use it for fanfic inspo. I copied a lot from the June newsletter because it's mostly the same but some new stuff is happening both irl and for the YumeshipDark server. I've been trying to take more time out for myself to enjoy things and you might be thinking well Tavi maybe you'd have more time if you weren't always organizing fandom stuff, and that's true. But organizing fandom stuff is probably one of my most enjoyable hobbies. I get out my gay ass spreadsheets and I start organizing stuff and really I do genuinely enjoy seeing y'all participate.
There's so much unpleasantness in fandom these days. I'm actually doing a video essay about fandom that I keep pushing back because its personal and I have stuff that has actual time schedules. But anyway, even if it's just a little in the grand scheme of things, I like to be a positive spot in fandom. I always think as long as you're having fun and not being an asshole in fandom then it's good. Even if so many people don't get that memo, having a community and just being in fandom enjoying myself have always been worthwhile to me. And on an even more negative note I started thinking about how it's abnormally hot and there's wildfires because of it and horrible air quality. I really hope everyone's able to stay indoors as much as they can. It also reminds me of how I'm accepting and happy with people exploring all types of fictional creation and ways to create except for gen ai. If it's one thing I wish people would stop using its that. Roleplay with each other, use your imagination, make stuff badly but don't let a robot made by a bunch of greedy people make your stuff.
I hired movers and it didn't exactly work out for various reasons that would make my rambling 3 times longer. But I packed up my fragile nerd things by hand. All my little figures, standees keychains and buttons and stuff of my pookies I knew I had to protect. I was so paranoid that the movers would see my weird freaky pervert stuff and like I'm not ashamed I paid good money for this stuff but again I'm not trying to blast unsuspecting people with that. I hid everything well…. If you buy a lot of explicit doujinshi you better either be super happy where you're living or start planning your move right now… And so of course like some sort of ecchi sitcom I managed to leave some of my most explicit pervert stuff out in the open and i dive bombed to the floor to get it. And then one of the movers was also a nerd and he saw some of the stuff I hadn't finished packing that was like sfw and was like oh what's you're fav stuff and I was like right now I never want to see any anime again but that was just my hatred for the move talking I love my gay little merches.
When I was moving I started thinking, wow wouldn't it be great if my f/os were here to help me <3 and then I realized if my f/os were here we'd just be making out and nothing would have gotten accomplished. When I was half passed out on the floor from moving boxes and stuff I did imagine them being like you have to get up there's so many fanfic you need to write about us, so like lol whatever works.
