Despite a forecast calling for a cloudy morning, the skies today were clear and vividly blue, Carolina Blue.  It was a beautiful backdrop for Ayden's posthumous graduation from his preschool FSM Montessori.

Now in its 9th year as an independent school, FSM had a particularly young class this year, with Ayden and his best friend as the only two graduates.  The day was filled with songs and well-wishes from his classmates and teachers.  It concluded with Ayden's certification ceremony and a deeply touching memory book created by Mrs. Rehmane, which provided us with even more treasured glimpses into Ayden’s days at the school.

FSM operates under the motto, “preparing citizens of the world.”  There could not be a better description of who Ayden was and who he became.  We are incredibly grateful for the two years he spent in such a remarkable environment, where his kind, loving, and selfless nature blossomed.  Thank you Mrs. Rehmane, Ms. Carla and Ms. Sandy!

This summer, Ayden's younger brother will begin his own journey at FSM.  We find comfort in knowing he will grow in the same loving environment and carry Ayden's legacy forward.
