What changed in AI pricing: no list-price moves; 5 tools new on the directory

No confirmed list-price changes this week. We re-checked 30 tools and added 5 Batch 6 listings.

What changed in AI pricing, issue #3

Hi, Eric here. Every week we re-check AI tool prices against their official pricing pages. Here's what changed, with the date we checked and a link to the source.

What changed

No list-price changes recorded this week. Nothing new has been logged since issue #2 (the Krea Basic $9 plan and the ElevenLabs Starter promo end were already covered there). Our Oct 28, 2026 weekly re-check of all 30 tools in the top-weekly set also found no vendor list-price moves.

Re-checked, no change

We re-checked these tools on Oct 28, 2026 and their list prices hadn't changed: Jasper, Midjourney, Freepik AI, Krea, Runway, Descript, Synthesia, OpusClip, ElevenLabs, Suno, Speechify, Otter.ai, Fireflies.ai, Fathom, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Bolt.new, Semrush, Surfer, Instantly, Zendesk, Prezi and ClickUp.

Worth a short note: Midjourney had been stuck on needs-manual-check after earlier bot blocks; the Oct 28 re-check read the official plans page successfully and confirmed Basic $10/$8, Standard $30/$24, Pro $60/$48 and Mega $120/$96 (monthly / annual-per-month) — unchanged, now marked verified. Official plans

Seven others in the weekly set still need a manual check (ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini, Grammarly, Notion AI, Canva, Perplexity), so we're not quoting their numbers here.

New this week

New on WhichAITools this week (Batch 6, live on production):

  • Presentations.AI turns prompts, documents or URLs into on-brand slide decks with PowerPoint export on paid plans. Starter is free (100 credits, up to 20 slides). US Pro and Gold list prices are billed annually only: Pro is $20/month billed annually ($240/year), and Gold is $100/month billed annually ($1,200/year) — there is no month-to-month self-serve price on the pricing page (pricing, checked Oct 21, 2026).
  • Chronicle builds editable, on-brand decks from notes and docs. Free covers editing, web publish and PDF export (AI gated). Pro is $15/seat/month, or $12 billed annually; Plus is $30/$25 and Max is $59/$45 (pricing, checked Oct 21, 2026).
  • Shortwave is an AI-native email client that organizes your inbox, drafts in your voice and searches threads with Claude-backed assistants. A free plan covers core AI features per the vendor FAQ, and Business is $30 per seat per month (Premier $45, Max $120); annual alternate figures weren't shown as separate numbers on the page we checked (pricing, checked Oct 21, 2026).
  • Regie.ai is an agentic sales workspace that researches accounts, drafts outreach, enriches contacts and dials from one place. Free gives 250 one-time credits per person. Pro is $49/month, or $41 billed annually; Team is $150 per seat per month, or $125 billed annually (2-seat minimum) (pricing, checked Oct 21, 2026).
  • Mutiny is a GTM AI assistant that builds personalized sales and marketing assets — deal rooms, ABM pages, follow-ups and playbooks. Free is tightly credit-capped (5 daily credits, up to 30/month per seat). Business is $50/month on the page we checked; Enterprise starts at $40,000/year (pricing, checked Oct 21, 2026).

Spot a price that looks wrong? Reply and I'll check it against the official page.
