What changed in AI pricing: Krea adds a $9 plan, an ElevenLabs promo ends
Two confirmed changes from official pricing pages, plus 8 tools new on the directory.
What changed in AI pricing, issue #2
Hi, Eric here. Every week we re-check AI tool prices against their official pricing pages. Here's what changed, with the date we checked and a link to the source.
What changed
-
Krea added a new Basic plan at $9/month. It sits below Pro ($35/month), so the cheapest paid way into Krea is now $9/month instead of $35. Basic includes 5,000 units a month, all image models, selected video models, LoRA training (50 images) and upscaling up to 22K. Pro, Max and Business prices didn't change. We're only quoting the monthly price for Basic, because the annual figure isn't consistent on Krea's page yet. Checked Oct 21, 2026. Official pricing
-
ElevenLabs ended its Starter first-month promo. The "first month $1" Starter offer ran until Oct 18, 2026 and is gone. This is a promo ending, not a price increase: Starter is still $6/month, as before. The separate Creator offer (first month 50% off, $11, then $22/month) is still showing. Checked Oct 21, 2026. Official pricing
Re-checked, no change
We also re-checked these tools on Oct 21, 2026 and their list prices hadn't changed: Jasper, Freepik AI, Runway, Descript, Synthesia, OpusClip, Suno, Speechify, Otter.ai, Fireflies.ai, Fathom, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Bolt.new, Semrush, Surfer, Instantly, Zendesk, Prezi and ClickUp.
New this week
New on WhichAITools this week:
- Devin is Cognition's cloud coding agent that takes tasks from Slack, GitHub or Linear and works in a sandbox until it hands back a pull request for review. There's a free plan, and Pro is $20/month (pricing, checked Oct 21, 2026).
- CodeRabbit reviews pull requests in GitHub and GitLab, plus the IDE and CLI, and suggests fixes. Reviews on public repos are free, and Essentials is $30 per developer per month, or $24 billed annually (pricing, checked Oct 21, 2026).
- Originality.ai checks text for likely AI authorship and plagiarism, plus grammar, readability and facts. Pro is $14.95/month, or $12.95 billed annually, for 200K words a month. Detection scores are probabilistic, so flagged text still needs a human look (pricing, checked Oct 21, 2026).
- Bluedot records and transcribes meetings without a bot joining the call, then writes summaries and follow-ups. The free plan covers 5 meetings in total, and Basic (audio only) is $18 per user per month, or $14 billed annually. Many places require consent from all participants before recording; check before you use it (pricing, checked Oct 21, 2026).
- Hunter finds and verifies professional email addresses and runs cold email sequences. The free plan gives 50 credits a month, and Starter is $49/month, or $34 billed annually (pricing, checked Oct 21, 2026).
- Brand24 tracks mentions of your brand and competitors across social, news, blogs, forums and podcasts, with AI sentiment analysis. There's no free plan, just a 14-day trial with no card, and Individual is $249/month, or $199 billed annually (pricing, checked Oct 21, 2026).
- Kommunicate runs AI support agents on your site, WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram and email, and hands tricky chats to your team. There's a 30-day trial with no card, and Starter is $40/month, or $34 billed annually, for 250 conversations (pricing, checked Oct 21, 2026).
- Chatling is a no-code builder for support chatbots that learn from your site and docs. The free plan has 200 AI credits a month, and Starter is $25/month, or $21 billed annually. Credit costs vary by model, so heavy use can be hard to predict (pricing, checked Oct 21, 2026).
