Why go: the easiest Sunday on this list — music from mid-morning straight through the afternoon, and food you can walk up and order.

Sat: Wrestling Night, 8–10 — Screaming Unicorn kitchen open

Why go: not everyone wants an acoustic set. Sometimes you want a suplex and a burger.

Whalers Brewing (South Kingstown) — The Evolutionists bring hip hop and soul Friday at 7:30; South County BBQ pulls in Sunday at noon.
Newport Craft (Newport) — Food Truck Friday, live music and rotating trucks, 5–9.
