ALL THE BOOKS I READ IN 2023
((This list makes me realize I need way more poetry in my life: a goal for 2024.))
((This list does not include books that I am long-term reading—I read several books at once, and some, particularly nonfiction/research books are books I read over the course of a year or two and will appear on my list when finished. One marvelous book of poetry I paused reading only because I wanted it fresh in my mind for a conversation, which was then postponed, so it’ll appear on my 2024 list.))
((This list is in the order I read them over the course of the year.))
((You could read this as my “Best Books of 2023” as much as “Books Read in 2023” because there were at least a dozen books I started reading and abandoned and there are only three books on my list that I finished ambivalently. Some of the books I abandoned have of course appeared on various other “Best of” lists.))
