Modern Warfare 4's DMZ Gets a Level 70 Grind, and This Time You Have to Buy the Game

Activision's new DMZ progression trailer (October 7) shows a dedicated track that runs to Level 70 and unlocks key printer recipes and FOB (forward operating base) stations along the way. DMZ, Call of Duty's extraction mode, returns on October 23 inside Modern Warfare 4. The 2022 version came free with Warzone 2.0, and PC Games reports this one is exclusive to the paid game with no standalone free version announced.

Player impact: Squads who played free DMZ in 2022 now pay full price for the extraction mode. A key printer means farming your own access to locked loot rooms, so the Level 70 grind decides who gets the good spawns.

ARC Raiders Hits 131,388 Steam Players, Its Biggest Crowd Since April

ARC Raiders reached a 24-hour Steam peak of 131,388 concurrent players on October 8, the day Embark's Frozen Trail 2.0 update added the Pendola Pass map. Player impact: Expect fresh, under-geared players in every Pendola Pass raid this weekend. The real number to watch is Monday's count after the free trial closes and the tourists leave.

Ubisoft Is Shutting Down Rainbow Six Mobile on January 15, 2027

Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Adds a Six-Duo Infinity Stones Mode and a Free Thor Skin

NetEase's Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 goes live October 9 at 09:00 UTC after about two hours of maintenance. Destiny 2 Patches a Cheat That Flooded Players With Free XP, and Bungie Is Banning the Abusers

Bungie pushed Destiny 2 Update 9.7.0.5 on all platforms on October 7. The back-end fix stops cheat users from spamming other players with unearned rewards and XP. Bungie says accounts that used the cheat maliciously are being actioned, while players who only received the rewards without seeking them out will not be punished. It is the first patch since Bungie announced plans to keep Destiny going.

Player impact: If random rewards landed in your inventory, you are safe as long as you did not chase the exploit. Anyone who ran the cheat should expect a ban.

A 25-Minute GTA 6 Leak Shows First-Person Racing Before Launch

The leaker known as Cyberleek posted a 25-minute GTA 6 video on October 8 showing a Thrillbilly Mud Club event, a dirt race, car upgrades, a street race, and a first-person driving view. VGC says the footage appears to be authentic. About 14 minutes show Jason nude, and a tank spawning in a river suggests a dev or modified build.
