STILL NO RACCOONS IN HELL
re: NO RACCOONS, I've still been figuring out what I want to do with the end of the story, having realized that I had crammed more detail than I can can actually fit in the amount of pages I planned. Normally when I find that I've done something like this, I think a lot of the detail is unnecessary and I can chop it away, but there's not much here that I want to lose.
I thought I was going to need to add a third issue, but the fact of the matter is, there's not two issue's worth of story here, so what I've settled on is making part two a long comic. The first issue was 36 pages, and having gone over my outline multiple times now, I think I can plan on finishing this one out in somewhere between 44 and 48 pages. I'm just going to let it be as long as it needs to be to get it done right, because I think 48 is the absolute outside.
I even made a little mockup to make sure I could physically staple together a 48 pager. It's 12 pieces of paper plus a cardstock cover.

...so I think I'm ready to keep moving after this delay. Thanks for your patience on this comic. I reread the first part last night and I still think it works really well, which helped reinstall my confidence on bringing it home.
TINA AND ELLIE
I have been moving along on TINA AND ELLIE TAKE THE CASE, though!

The kickstarter has been picking up followers, which I think is probably at the least not a bad thing for the algorithm. I'm not sure when I will launch it as there is a list of things I am waiting to confirm that affect cost and scheduling. I will have a cool option that is only available in the first 24 hours of the campaign that I think people will be into if they link my art. I'll announce what it is once a few of the things on the list get checked off...
This is my tentative "about the author" image:

I've done some more chapter break pages:

Two chapter header pages to go!
I've knocked out a lot of the non-comic pages. I'll be ordering a print proof shortly.
SKETCH
Here's a little Tori and Val sketch on a crumpled piece of paper:

OK, I think that's good for now. Take care!
