#6 GitHub Rising Stars
I’ve spent the last couple of weeks fine-tuning my development workflow and… worldview. I can’t say I have found the perfect balance in the Good vs Evil (or No-AI vs All-AI) battle, but I am getting somewhere. And my interview with Tomasz Tomczyk - creator of Crit.md - an open source tool for humans to review AI-generated plans and code - has been a great source of insight on the matter. I will be ready to share it with you next week.
With the help of my fresh-out-of-the-oven Great Little Bot, I went through 866 projects and hand-picked about 25 of them last week. Here are a few to give you a taste:
- astashov/liftosaur ★596: Weightlifting tracker app for coders
- y3owk1n/neru ★401: Navigate your entire screen without touching the mouse
- psoukie/zipchord ★224: ZipChord is a customizable hybrid keyboard input method that augments regular typing with chords and shorthands.
When I started Great Little Software, I was hoping to find enough projects to write about, and now there are enough of them to highlight daily (@greatlittlebot.bsky.social)!
That also means that we can dream big. Thank you for being a part of this community!
Until next time,
Valeria
