How do I prioritize when everything feels important?
Pre-holiday prioritization tips
All of my blog posts, newsletters, and 1-1 emails are written by me — em dashes and all! If you wanna know how I use AI in my business, click here.
Writing this from bed because this short week is kicking my ass!
The truth is, if it feels like there aren’t enough hours in the day to finish everything you need to, it’s probably because you’re not supposed to be doing that much.
With only four-ish weeks left in the year, it’s time to face the facts: You aren’t going to get it all done.
And that’s okay!
It’s hard to prioritize when everything feels important or urgent. So let’s slow our rolls and break it down a bit…
Look at your to-do list for the rest of the year. Don’t have one of those? Start there.
Which tasks are actually due? Like, set-in-stone due? Write those down with the due dates beside them.
Look at that list again. I said SET IN STONE, betch. Client deadlines. Promises you made your boss. External obligations. Internal projects that are really going to move the needle between now and December 31st.
Is there any more room on that to-do list? If so, sprinkle in some things you really want to do, not that you feel you have to do, before the year ends. If not, push the rest into the new year.
Need to set aside some time to prioritize in December? Register for my Pre-Holiday Prioritization Workshop on Monday, December 2nd. Together, we’ll create a solid plan to help you feel less overwhelmed and more aligned with your to-do list.
Cost: Free for you, beautiful paid subscriber :)
A recording will be provided in case you can’t attend live.
