Glimmers of hope in a pile of š©
Last week, I had to take a beat because my blood pressure was higher than usual. I donāt think my body has ever felt so viscerally anxious before, it was like my entire system was preparing for war.
We are living in the strangest, bleakest, and scariest timeline. I am constantly filled with a mixture of rage and sadness and dread.
Today I needed to be reminded that there are good things happening too. Not in a naive āchoose joyā type of way, more in a āthere are actually reasons to keep goingā kind of way.
It does help that I have clients who are doing cool shit, which means I get to work on meaningful stuff even when it feels like the world is crumbling.
I wanted to share what some of them are up to, and also a glimmer list of things that have brought me some joy, relief, or pleasure over the last month.
Would love to hear some of your recent glimmers if you wanna share something good thatās happened lately āØ

Sand Chang and Nic Wildes just launched applications for their 10th cohort of QTIFS: An IFS Foundations Course for Trans, Nonbinary, and Queer Clinicians. Applications close June 10th. Cohort starts September 25th.
I was Zoom tech for cohort 9, which wrapped over the weekend, and got to see first-hand what an incredibly supportive and needed affinity space this is. (Shoutout to all the therapists who are holding it down right now, I hope youāre taking good care of yourselves.)
Lindsay Mackās book Tarot for the Wild Soul and their Soul Tarot deck are officially out!
I received my book and deck yesterday and both are so, so beautiful. I may be adding a daily card pull to my bingo cards moving forward.

Lindsay Bronstein, integrative dietitian and health coach, just launched The Sweet Spot, a 3-week experiment to explore sugar, pleasure, and what your body is actually asking for.
Lindsay has such a grounded approach to body stuff ā rooted in compassion and curiosity. (She also has an incredible Substack!)
