A Sunday planning playlist
My Sunday planning playlist to accompany you on whatever your oh-shit-it's-about-to-be-Monday routine looks like.
All of my blog posts, newsletters, and 1-1 emails are written by me — em dashes and all! If you wanna know how I use AI in my business, click here.
It's been a while since I sent you a productivity-adjacent playlist. This week I'm starting a trial month of focused wake-up calls, which has made me a little more mindful about the ways I'm starting my week/weekdays.
Here's my sunday planning playlist to accompany you on whatever your oh-shit-it's-about-to-be-Monday routine looks like.
One thing I've been into lately is organizing my desk at the start of a new week. I don't know about you, but the borrowers living in my home like to make a mess of all my spaces behind my back. I have no other explanation for the havoc wreaked and clutter made throughout the week! Side note: I'm convinced I watched The Borrowers 200,000 times as a child so I could blame them well into adulthood.
I've also been trying to be more mindful about stretching. I recently took a one-hour Deep Stretch class via Zoom and it was a jarring reminder that my body requires more than sitting at a computer for 8 hours to feel good about itself. Go figure? I'm not the type of productivity girly to show off her daily workout routine (mostly because I don't have one), but I will always encourage us both to do some mindful movement.
I'm in search of a morning routine that doesn't suck or cause me to roll my eyes at the thought. I'm not really in my gratitude journal and exercise era, nor have I ever been, but I do love the idea of having a cup of tea, maybe a stretch and a laugh? Would love to hear how you're starting your day, if you have any suggestions for me.
Last but not least, I mentioned starting focused wake-up calls this week. I RSVP'd for their CreativeMornings planning session last week and decided to sign up for a trial. It looks like they're doing a $5 trial for the masses for a limited time, if you want to check it out.
I like the idea of taking 15 minutes to collect my thoughts and start the day on a more intentional note. I'll report back at the end of the month if I can give my full endorsement, but if you end up trying it out too, let me know so I can look for your name at the co-working sessions.
Good luck this week!
Peace, love and workflows,
Andrea
