Ekphrasis is art about art. Trekphrasis is art about Star Trek. As one of the best television series ever made (and the second best Trek series), Star Trek: The Next Generation will serve as the inspiration for 170+ original essays, poems, plays, and short stories.

To replicate the experience of discovering TNG completely out of order through the magic of syndicated reruns (and to avoid writing about Season 1 for a whole year), twice a month I’ll use a random number generator to select an episode of TNG.
