With the May 1st release of Whispered Awakening drawing closer, I’ve been moving through a mix of anticipation and excitement. There’s something both beautiful and vulnerable about sharing music that has, until now, existed in a more private space. As I prepare for the upcoming performances, I’m learning to trust that process and let the music speak for itself. To be one of the first to hear the full album before it’s released, you can now purchase Whispered Awakening on Bandcamp.

The title of my latest single, “Susurros del Despertar" is the Spanish version of my album title, Whispered Awakening. This piece emerged from the silence that descended on many of us in March 2020. The lyric of Antonio Carlos Jobim: "e a própria dor revelou o caminho do amor" (and the pain itself revealed the path of love) captures the musical message here.
