Collection: Twilit Cities
We are happy to present a curated collection of gifs to satisfy your brooding cyberpunk needs. These gifs were sourced from across the web and derive from 80s and 90s Japanese cyberpunk anime and video games such as Hideo Kojima's Snatcher and Policenauts. Images in this curation are intended to be displayed on Electric Objects, but can be used on any ambient monitor. Feel free to contribute.

Re-reading: How to Sabotage a Meeting
Last year we had the pleasure to connect with digital strategy and media consultant Jim Babb. This week, Jim published his first essay of the year, "A Field Guide to Dudes Who Ruin Meetings", wherein he details different strategies for handling the antics of a variety of frustrating Dudes, including:
- "Dr. Downer" - the dude incapable of seeing opportunities in challenges
- "Cool Tool" - the dude who derails the group by cracking jokes and acting too cool
Subpixel Space suggests a re-reading of Jim's article from the perspective of the Dude. For our readers in espionage and anti-consulting, we trust that this essay will help you learn how to anticipate, prevent, and counter attempts to enforce productivity in meetings.

Brand: Stone Island Shadow Project
SISP is a subset of Stone Island, the brand known best for its experimental fabric treatments and its popularity among European football hooligans. The Shadow Project label, however, is a collaboration Errolson Hugh of Acronym, whose inventive menswear patterning and silhouettes can be seen in the SISP line. Depending on the season, the aesthetic falls somewhere between the sharp, sporty fit of a 1980s business mogul with dark predilections gone out to play, and the faded, inclement conditions-ready gear of a post-apocalyptic landscape.

Mood Music: "What You Won't Do For Love."
With only a week or so until Vine's shutdown, let's recall a great:
this vaporwave cut of Bobby Caldwell's "What You Won't Do For Love". This track seems to have become as iconic in vaporwave circles as Lonnie Liston's
Summer Nights. As with most vaporwave tracks, it's impossible to know who cut the original, but the song has a long history of covers before it dropped into Tumblr territory. There are several versions on YouTube, each with their own tempo and filter variation.
Tonight, after the sun sets, drop any of the Twilit Cities images onto your display, and play the following videos on repeat with a glass of wine in hand. We live in interesting times.
