New post: Facilitate respectful disagreements with epistemic barter
Hey guys,
As planned, I finished my post about my favorite framing for conversation and navigating divergent opinions for my July publication. It's on the longer side. These posts have a tendency to balloon on me, especially when I decide to add examples and analogies in an effort to illustrate what I mean better.
In any case, if you're interested in having less unproductive arguments and more instructive and enjoyable conversations, then consider giving Facilitate respectful disagreements with epistemic barter a read.
By the way, I wanted to let you know that I won't be publishing any posts in August. I'll be on holiday with some of my family for a good part of July, and I've realized that when I try to combine vacations with my regular publication schedule, I just end up more stressed and less rested. So I decided not to get caught between two stools this time around, and commit to taking a break. This also applies to YouTube, I won't publish videos weekly during July. In any case, I should return to my regular schedule starting in September.
Moving on to the YouTube section of my newsletter, this month I've finished my loose philosophical school of thoughts trilogy with:
▶︎ Is complete objectivity even possible? A primer to Perspectivism
and
▶︎ Is finding meaning in spite of uncertainty even possible? A primer to Existentialism
That last one has become my most viewed video up to date!
Finally, although it apparently wasn't all that popular, I'm pretty happy with this one:
▶︎ The dangers of trying to fix problems you don't understand – An appeal for rigorous inquiry
Hope you'll find something that floats your boat in there!
