March's post
Hey guys,
I'm cheating a bit with March's monthly upload. Here's a very short post (one could argue it's more of a glorified tweet) advocating for some additional pruning of our popular vocabulary: Can we please stop saying "aha" moment? (Links: Blog / Substack)
I was initially planning to publish a more substantial draft, but I ran out of time to squeeze it in by this deadline. To pad things out a bit more, I'm also reposting my old blog post, Gist triangulation, on my Substack as well.
I have several trips lined up this year, which is nice, but combined with my full-time job, they end up eating about half of my monthly writing free time, which has a deeper impact than I initially expected. But perhaps more importantly, this predicament emphasizes the main issue that predates it, namely my fairly dismal output efficiency.
Even without trips, I don't think I'd reliably be able to fulfill my monthly goal if I were to keep the general rhythm I've been following for most of my posts up to now. I'll have to experiment to try to find a lighter and more fluid approach these next few months.
