1. A species of marine crustacean celebrated for its formidable dimensions and noteworthy heft, particularly when arrayed on a platter with a presentation that challenges the notion of 'appetizer'.

2. colloq. A seafood selection that redefines 'finger food', requiring two hands and a napkin-laden strategy meeting.

Etymology. From Latin titan (giant deity of Greek mythology), paired with Middle English shrimpe (small shellfish). The irony was not lost on the seafood aficionado.

The thiccc jumbo shrimp on the plate practically demanded its own zip code, rivaling the main course in stature.
