CLASSIC Campaign.
So many to choose from but I'll plump for The Two-Headed Serpent for Call of Cthulhu 7e.
We ran this over a year, our Sunday group reliving Call of Cthulhu after a break of 40 odd years for some of us.
It's rollicking, it's rip-roaring, it's pulpy as hell and has some incredible set pieces and an array of NPCs that are both memorable and send a shiver down the spine.
I played Tatarendy, a South American shaman who was well educated and a fountain of esoteric knowledge for the rest of the party, who were basically either unpleasant colonialists or very unpleasant gangsters or criminals.
Tatarendy died horribly, smashed to a pulp in the jungles of REDACTED by a REDACTED, his companions quipping, ‘What was his name?’, ‘Who’s going to carry my bags?’, ‘Poor old, Tappyteddy, I mean Tendertooty, er…’
A good solid campaign, in the classic vein but updated for 7e and the pulp rules it all flowed very well with so many memorable moments, probably the first campaign our Sunday group completed and very satisfying, now I want to try a few more; Masks of Nyolarthotep, Eternal Lies, Children of Fear, so many campaigns, so little time.
