• A man dressed as Ghostface kept smashing a Lorton HOA building. Then detectives waited for him. FCPD says a 22-year-old destroyed the Lorton Station Community Association's windows six times since July 9, using rocks, a hammer, and cinder blocks while wearing a "Scream" mask and robe. The county keeps deciding it wants density in places it once left alone: shopping-center parking lots, arterial-road strip malls, the edges of quiet neighborhoods.
